WHO WE ARE

Helping Hands/Freedom Trails is an organization of members who have been providing a quality outdoor experience to all people, regardless of the ability level or special needs, since 1984.

Most Idaho residents have access to our world-class recreation, these opportunities are not always available to special need individuals.

Our members and volunteers are primarily from Southern Idaho. Our campers come from all areas of Idaho. Each year we are lookn for more special individuals of all ages to join us, not just from Idaho but others states as well.

WHAT WE ARE ABOUT

Each year, as a result of the efforts of our member, vounteers, donors and sponsors; people with special needs or limited abilitie, their families and/or their caregivers are provided with an exciting opportunity of wilderness camping. Our programs are geared especially for them. Campers are invited to take wagon rides, participate in a talent show, karaoke, dances, crafts, bingo, games and so much more!

COME JOIN US

Once above eternity,

above the clouds so high,

there were some chosen angels

who had no wings to fly.

Their hands were made for helping,

their hearts were tendr too.

Their smiles were warm and happy

and glowed as halos do.

God sent down these angels,

Because they are such dears,

to spread their gentle love on earth ....

we call them "volunteers."
